Samantha Horne is an imaginative young artist who is often disguised as a teacher! Combining evocative conceptual ideas and irrepressible creativity, her simple but powerful imagery is presented in a number of different mediums. She has worked in many different environments including community projects, resident artist to personal commission.
I have been creating art ever since I was able to pick up a pen later completing GCSE and A’level art courses. More recently I have completed an Art Foundation Diploma and am now working part time as a Primary Teacher so I can also freelance as an artist.
I believe we are all creative, we are all artists as we are made in the image of the Creator. My heart is to use art to engage people of all ages in creative expression and response. As a teacher I have seen art used to unlock hidden potential and to bring healing to young broken lives.
